The Tribe - Season 6 - Episode 7 ... (Fiction)

-Episode 7-

(Amber stood by her bedroom door and took a quick second glance over at a sleeping Jay, then turned her attention to Bray Jnr who was fast asleep.. not even a stir from him.. "He'll be okay for a short while, He's asleep".. she thought to herself, before looking over at Jay again)
AMBER: Sorry Jay .. (she whispered to herself)
(Closing her bedroom door behind her, she made her way to Bray and Lex's room.. she walked bare foot across the cold wood floors of the living space.. then gentley opened the door to where she saw Bray sleeping peacefully in the bed at the opposite side of the room from Lex.... Entering,  she made her way over to Bray's bed and sat on the edge of it.. She sat there for a while just staring at his face.. "Please don't reject me".. she thought, wondering if this was the right time to wake him)
AMBER: I love you.. (she whispered stroking his baby face)
(Bray stirred a little at the feel of Amber's touch.......  she quickley covered his mouth as he awoke)
BRAY: Amber? .. Do you know what time it is?.. .What do you want?.
AMBER: (Nodding she speaks quitely) .. You.......
BRAY: Can't it wait till the morning?
AMBER: No... I can't sleep... I have to do this now...(pauses)..  I love you.. It's you I want
BRAY: What about Jay?
AMBER: I can't stay with Jay,  everytime I close my eyes I see your face.. it's haunting me.. And I like it.. (she smiles)
(Closing her eyes.. she leans in towards him .. as their lips touch.. Amber realises.. this is what she'd been missing.. no one's kisses had made her feel more at home than Bray's... The night was going to be a special one)

(In the morning everyone gathers in the living space and what a sight they are.. They looked like at bunch of strangers.. Their moods differed from person to person.. Amber hands Bray his son for him to change and feed..... Jay's attempts to get close to Amber uneases her as she shuffles away..... Zoe and Lex seem to be making flirtatious eye signals at each other.. whilst Trudy looks happier than she had ever been in a long time.. Slade and Ebony are happily snuggled together in the corner.. Ram and Ved look like a pair of gossiping girls as they have a good catch up whilst Lottie, Daryl and Salene are sat chatting among themselves.. Gel is "as always" checking herself out in the mirror.. Jack and Ellie look rather uncomfortable ..And May is stood bored and tapping her foot)
LEX: I think since no one is especially busy today.. We should make use of it and go out and look for food and supplys.. We can split up into teams.. And the weaker  few can stay with the children.... However I AM still a little bit tired... no thanks to the noise that kept me awake last night
TRUDY: What noise?
JAY: Yeah.. I slept like a baby..
LEX: You might have.. But I can't say the same for Amber
(Confused .. Jay turns his attention to Amber.. Amber bows her head feeling guilty for what she'd done behind Jay's back...She decided to come right out with it and tell him.. "He's bound to find out soon anyway".. she thought)
AMBER: There's no easy way to tell you this..... but..  Bray and I... We're back together
JAY: (feeling hurt and angry).. Since when?
AMBER: Last night...
JAY: Tell me you didn't do what I think you did.... Not without speaking to me first
LEX: Oh trust me .. she did exactly what you think she did
BRAY: Shut it.. Lex
AMBER: Look I didn't want to hurt you.. but.. I couldn't continue living this lie.. I couldn't sleep last night because all I wanted to do was follow my heart.. I couldn't deny it what it wanted Jay..  You knew how I felt about Bray, before you got close to me... So you must have known deep inside, that the day I found him again.. that I'd want to be with him.
JAY: I guess I knew deep down that I'd lost you... but I never thought you'd cheat on me
(Jay walked to his room feeling hurt and betrayed.. Whilst Bray comforted Amber)
AMBER: This isn't what I expected at all.. I thought breaking up with him would be so straight forward.. that he'd be understanding
BRAY: You know, it was a decision between hurting him.. or breaking two hearts... And YOUR heart made the right choice.. Amber, what else could you have done?
AMBER: While I can't possibly feel any lower.. I have an apology to make.. Zoe... I've been a total bitch towards you.. I admit.. when I first met you.. I got the wrong idea about you and Bray..  and I'm very sorry.. Forgive me?
ZOE: You make my brother happy.. so there's nothing to forgive..
(Wrapped in Bray's embrace, Amber smiles....... Jay emerges from his room with his small bag packed)
LEX: Where do you think you're going?
JAY: Oh don't worry.. I'm not leaving.. I wouldn't give anyone the satisfaction.. (he says aiming the comment at Bray).. But I thought I'd make things easier.. I'm switching rooms with Bray
LEX: Your kidding me? .. last night I witnessed something that will haunt me for the rest of my life.. thanks guys.. (he says looking at Bray and Amber.. before turning his attention back to Jay)... and now you want me to share a room with someone who'll be sulking for the rest of the year over what happened last night.... no way
EBONY: (Smiling).. Wait.. what will haunt you Lex? .. (Ebony asked intrigued)
LEX: What I SAW ... And heard.
(The gang start to laugh.. But Bray and Amber didn't seem to care.. they had each other and that's all that mattered)
LEX: Besides.. I have a little announcment of my own to make.. Zoe and I.. We're together.. We'd like a room of our own soon.. but for now I'd rather share with Ram.. at least I won't hear any crying from him..
RAM: (clapping both his hands together).. Well that's sorted.. Jay, Your in with Ved and Daryl
SALENE: Lex.. there is NO more room
LEX: Well we'll have to MAKE room
JACK: Ah.. Actually there's no need to fight about Space.. Lex and Zoe.. you'll get your wish
SLADE: Jack.. is there something you'd like to share with the rest of us?
JACK: Yeah.. (Jack replied feeling as though he was letting his own tribe down)
(Ellie notices Jacks discomfort and helps him out)
ELLIE: What he means is.. Jack and I.. We're leaving
AMBER: What? .. But you can't.. Where will you go?
RUBY: Jack we need you.. We need both of you.. We need ALL OF US
JACK: I'm sorry guys.. this just isn't for us.. I mean you guys talk about going back to the city soon.. and it's just not for us.. not again.. So many bad things have happened in the city.. and for Ellie and I to start again.. We need to be away from it all..
ELLIE: We feel safer out here
JACK: We'll last longer on our own
LEX: Yeah like you two could survive on your own
JACK: What I meant was we'd survive longer as a couple out here.. without anyone in the city trying to tear us apart.. But thanks for the overwhelming vote of confidence Lex.. that means a lot
LEX: Hey, I was just saying
SALENE: I can't believe you're leaving us ..
JACK: You don't need us anymore
ELLIE: Besides.. you've got Ram.. he's smart, and he's a wiz on the computer.. so there you have it.. your very own new.. computer geek
AMBER: Hardly the same though... No offence Ram.. (she smiles)
RAM: (laughing)..  None taken
(Whilst the gang rally round Jack and Ellie to give them their best wishes and hugs... May signals for Salene to follow her ...  She leads her outside.. it's warm.. but there's a nice cool breeze.. May sits down on a tree stump)
MAY: It's breaking again huh?
SALENE: No.. This is just a splinter in the thumb.. neither of them were big fighters anyway.. We need strength if this tribe is to survive.. Sure they'll be missed.. but with them gone, that's two less backs to have to watch
MAY: You seemed pretty upset inside..
SALENE: I still am.. I just think maybe we'll have a better chance without them.. We'll miss Jack and Ellie so much.. Jack mainly.. he's one of the originals.. a mallrat for sure..  he's a mallrat to the heart.... to the soul even....  he's just got the spirit
MAY: (Saddened).. Unlike me.. you mean?
SALENE: I didn't say that
MAY: But you meant it.. and your right.. I have betrayed you all... so many times.. How long do you think the mallrats will continue to welcome me back with open arms?
SALENE: It's in the past.. You have to wipe the slate clean.. but your right .....the mallrats won't forgive and forget forever...  this is your LAST chance.. don't blow it May
(Salene turns to head back inside.. May tugs on her arm.. and stands up to kiss Salene.. but Salene pushes her away)
SALENE: MAY?
MAY: I'm sorry.. I thought maybe..
SALENE: (Interrupting in disappointment).. What? .. That I'd changed my mind? .. May, I'm straight.. I'm not gay.. I thought I'd made myself very clear about that... (sighs).. I care for you as a friend.. but that's as far as it goes!

The Tribe - Season 6 - Episode 6 ... (Fiction)

-Episode 6-

(It was evening, Brady and Bray Jnr were tucked up in bed and fast asleep in their rooms.. whilst the others were sat on the floor in the living space with blankets wrapped around them.. They had quite a strong light glowing from all the candles and they were chatting among themselves.. Bray and Amber were sat at opposite sides of the cabin's living room.. they STILL weren't talking.. Bray was sat next to his sister and Lex at one side of the room.. whilst Amber was wrapped in Jay's arms at the other side...)

SALENE: (Breaking the awkward silence) .. You know what guys? .. I think we'll be alright here.. it's like home
GEL: What? .. We can't stay here forever.. I need new clothes.. shoes.. make up.. this is only be temporary till we find something better.. isn't it? ..(she asks worried)
 EBONY: Gel's right.. We CAN'T stay here forever.. but for now it's the best we can do
BRAY: Well..  I don't know about you lot, but my plan is to eventually go back to the city
EBONY: That's my plan too.. but as things stand and whilst we're here.. someone needs to make the decisions and decide what we should do.. I think it should be Bray.. He was our leader before
BRAY: I don't know Ebony... Maybe Lex should take charge for a while...
(Lex is stunned that Bray had nominated HIM.. They'd never been close friends.. but it felt good knowing that Bray trusted him enough)
BRAY: Leadership isn't really my thing.. Besides.. I don't know how long I'll be sticking around.
TRUDY: Bray?
(Bray stands up and leaves the cabin..)
MAY: Ooo .. Someone isn't getting tucked up in bed properly at night... (May bitches)
(Ebony, Trudy, Gel, Lex and Zoe.. shoot an angry look at May..  May notices)
MAY: What? .. I'm only speaking the truth.. (she snaps)
TRUDY: Well some of us would prefer it, if you didn't speak AT ALL.. (Trudy snaps back)
(Amber replays Bray's words in her mind.. "I don't know how long I'll be sticking around"..  they re-played over and over in her head.. and by now she was feeling even worse.. Devastated she decides to take herself to bed...... Trudy however, had wondered outside to speak with Bray.. she sit's next to him and places her hand on his shoulder supportively)
TRUDY: How are you doing? .. (She asks softly)
BRAY: Not great
TRUDY: I understand...  and I know it's hard.. You and I are in the same boat.. I lost out to Amber so many times.. first with you.. and then with Jay.. (pauses)..  but it get's a bit easier.. in time
BRAY: (Devastated to say the least) .. Doe's it? ... (he asks doubtfully)
(Trudy nods and remains silent as Bray turns his head..... face to face with Trudy.. He takes in the soft and concerned expression on her face.. while Trudy stares deep into his eyes seductively, she feels something.. she's not sure what but seeing Bray looking at her with such softness in his eyes, tugs at her heart....... she knew she shouldn't because there was a big chance she'd only end up hurt, but she decides to risk it and take the plunge anyway.. She leans in to kiss Bray.. and she is shocked but pleased when he kisses her back.. And so tenderly! ....  their lips linger on each others for a while..)
TRUDY: You're not really going to leave us are you? ..(she asks , still starry eyed after the kiss)
(Bray wasn't really thinking straight.. he was still hurting over Amber.. and was still so confused)
BRAY: (nodding) .. Come with me.. We could get away from it all.. and start again... together
TRUDY: As tempting as that is.. and believe me.. it really IS.... (sighs).. it'd be so unfair to do that to you and your son.. I couldn't watch you to leave him
BRAY: (snapping back to reality).. No your right.. I couldn't leave him .. I don't know what I was thinking
TRUDY: You're not thinking straight.. it's understandable.. I've felt what you're feeling now, so many times before... So I do understand..
(This time Bray made the first move and leaned in to kiss Trudy for a second time... They shared a long passionate kiss.. Meanwhile indoors most of the others had gone to bed..  which meant Lex and Zoe were alone together.. and it seemed like they'd been doing some flirting of their own.. )
LEX: So.. is that a yes.. (he smiles hopefully)
ZOE: That depends what the question is... (she teases Flirtatiously)
LEX: Well this is strange... Normally it just happens... But, here goes ..(taking a deep breath.. he really liked this girl and didn't want to mess up)..  do you.. maybe.. wanna go out some time .. (he asked , feeling pretty awkward)
ZOE: Well there's nowhere to go.. being stuck in the middle of nowhere.. (she laughs).. but if you're asking me to be your girlfriend.. I can happily reply yes to that question
(Lex smiles.. and the couple share their first ever kiss.. Sparks fly for Zoe.. it was magical.. she'd never felt this way about anyone before.. she'd had boyfriends in the past.. but for her this was different.. there was something about this guy that gave her butterflies in her stomach when he kissed her.. "could it be love".. she wondered.. but quickly dismissed the thought.. "Love at first touch".. I've never heard of that before,  she thought!)

(In bed Amber was tossing and turning.. she tried so hard to get to sleep but no matter what she just couldn't stop thinking about Bray..and what he'd said earlier that evening.... Sitting up, she turns her head slightly to look at Jay, he's fast asleep and looks so innocent.. "How can I hurt him?" .. she thought.. "But would it be justifiable in the case of love?" .. "If I love Bray, shouldn't I let him know? .. Shouldn't I satisfy my heart? Or should I stay with Jay to avoid hurting another? .. Can I really continue living a lie?" .. These are the questions that went racing through Amber's mind.... Most women would LOVE to have two guys fighting over them.. but Amber hated how things lay between her and Bray right now.. how they were barely speaking just tore her heart out..... In HER head she was in the worse possible situation that she'd ever had to deal with.. deciding whether to listen to her head and stay with her current lover to spare his feelings or listen to her heart and be with her one true love..

Bray's past words echoed in her mind.... BRAY: "Isn't it worse to pretend? .. to live a lie?  .. I mean what about LOVE Amber? .. Doesn't that count for anything?"


(In that instance.. Her mind was made up... She wanted him back.. and right now she couldn't care less who she hurt along the way.. At that moment all that mattered is what she wanted ... and she knew exactly how to get him back!)

The Tribe - Season 6 - Episode 5 ... (Fiction)

-Episode 5-

(The friends had only had a short time to catch up.. but it had already managed to lift the moods of some people..  May however despite being happy for Bray and Amber.. and Ved and Jay.. Still felt a little bad.. the main reason being the fact that it was HER fault that Pride had died... Seeing Amber, Bray and their son happily re-united tore at her.. she didn't know why.. but it somehow reminded her of Pride.. "Why couldn't I just have been happy for Pride and Salene?.. the way that I am for Bray and Amber".. she thought to herself! ..She knew that the pain she felt was her own fault! .... Ebony on the other hand was feeling great.. but a little bitchy... She was happy for Ved and Jay... but she was majorly glad to see Bray... but not so pleased to see Amber draped in his arms... Was the jealousy creeping back in? ... What about Slade?.. )

EBONY: As much as I hate to break up these lovely family re-unions .. We came here for a reason
LEX: Ebony's right.. Priorities first.. Story time later
RUBY: Come on.. let the families have a little bit of time.. who know's how long they've been parted
SLADE: All the same, we must get a move on
AMBER: (Detaching herself from Bray).. Where were you heading? ..
BRAY: Back to the city.. We..
AMBER: (Interrupting).. No you can't.. it's too dangerous..
VED: Yeah we know the technos..
AMBER: (Interrupting once again).. NO.........  it's not the technos.. it's a new virus..
BRAY: Virus?
AMBER: I'll explain later.. Right now we need to get moving
ZOE: So where are you guys heading?
(Amber looked Zoe up and down.. she didn't know this girl.. all she knew was that she was beautiful and Amber felt very jealous.. "Is this Bray's new girlfriend?" .. she pondered to herself!)
AMBER: Anywhere.. somewhere safe.. somewhere sheltered to sleep.. for the kids mainly..
(she answered as Salene passed Bray Jnr back to Amber)
AMBER: This is Bray Jnr.. OUR son... (she said glancing over at Zoe whilst handing Bray his child)
(Ebony started to smirk to herself.. she knew exactly what was going on here.. She could sense the jealousy in Amber's eyes and she knew that Amber had got the wrong idea about Zoe.. but she wasn't about to put her straight.. she loved to see Amber sweat.. Zoe however oblivious to Amber's mood..  looks on in admiration of her nephew.. she knew she was going to enjoy being an aunt.. Bray Jnr was the most beautiful child she'd ever seen and now he was back with his daddy)
BRAY: (looking down at the child in his arms.. he's almost speechless).. I can't believe it... it was starting to feel like I'd never meet my child..... (feeling as though he could cry).. He's beautiful Amber..
GEL: Yeah.. It seems as though good looks run in the family
BRAY: (Ignoring Gel's comment) .. Look the way you guys were going.. is back to the city.. If it's dangerous, we need to be heading in the oposite direction .. (he informs the group)
GEL: (trying her best to be flirtatious) .. Oh .. handsome and smart .. I like that.. (she says whilst playing with a few strands of her hair)
MAY: Why? ... It's not as though you both share the same qualities..
(May replied bitchily)
GEL: (clearly offended) .. Are you saying I'm not pretty?
MAY: No....... I'm saying your not smart
JAY: Knock it off.. the pair off you... We've found some of our missing friends and family... we should be feeling good.. not arguing
LEX: Yeah.. Are we going to make a start or what? .. Instead of standing here gassing
JACK: (Nodding in agreement) ..We really should get going
(The gang take off in the opposite direction to the one they'd started to walk in..... as they got further and further into the woods everyone had been taking it in turns to carry Brady and Bray Jnr...... Ved was the most exhausted.. he most definatley wasn't used to all this walking)
VED: Someone shoot me
LEX: Gladly ... (Lex didn't hesitate in answering that one)
(As they continued their involuntary hike in search of food and shelter.. it wasn't long before Lottie.. who had eyes like a hawk.. spotted something)
LOTTIE: Look.. what's that?
(It was an old forest cabin.. made up of three separate sections.. it looked abandoned so the gang decided to take a closer look and inspected the cabin.. it was very clean and empty.. and looted for sure.. but it was shelter and definatley big enough for everyone... there was candles, a toilet and a few old magazines,... there were wooden beds but no blankets.. luckily Bray, Ved and Zoe had their survival kits which consisted of gas lighters, water, the odd item of food, and their own blankets... the others also had their own blankets which they'd brought with them from the boat, so they'd be sheltered and warm)
DARYL: This is amazing
AMBER: Sure is ... (Amber replied in delight).. Looks like we've found ourselves a new home
ELLIE: New home?
AMBER: (Brushing off Ellie's question).. Only for now of course
TRUDY: I can't believe it
(Trudy was the one who had been most negative about this whole leaving the mall and the city business.. but even she was impressed)
BRAY: There's still a lot to sort out, like who's sleeping where..
SLADE: And where to get food
BRAY: We'll we're not far from a little lake down there.. (he says pointing in the direction of it).. There's plenty of fish.. that's where, Ved, Zoe and I have been going to catch our food.. I can take some of the guys with me before night sets in
AMBER: Great... (still trying to take it all in).. I'm still amazed we've found somewhere.. this is going to be easier living than I thought
EBONY: Don't get used to it.. It's only temporary remember?
(As everybody got settled and evening drew in, Bray, Slade, Jay, Lex and Ram took off to catch some fish from the lake)
RAM: We shouldn't be too long ladies.. I'm a pro.. (Ram boasted.. even though he hadn't a clue how to catch fish)
LEX: Sure you are Ram.. (Lex replied pushing Ram out of the door)
(By now the bed situation had also been planned.. as the cabin only had 5 separate rooms .. including two smaller rooms detatched from the cabin .. as well as a large living space.. that still only made a total of 7 bedrooms.. as the living space would be used as it's main purpose.. for everyone to chill out and talk.. if they ever had the time........ so it had been decided that Ellie and Jack would be in one room.. Jay and Amber with Bray Jnr in another.. Slade and Ebony in another, then Lottie, Gel, May & Salene all sharing another.. Ruby, Zoe and Trudy with Brady would share another.. then Daryl, Ved and Ram would share another, and Bray and Lex would share the last room)
GEL: (Emerging from the bathroom excitedly).. There's a mirror in the bathroom..
MAY: So?
GEL: So.. I'll look great EVERYDAY.. I have to make an impression on that new Bray guy.. he's quite a catch
(Amber didn't even bat an eyelash, she knew Bray would never even give the time of day in getting to know someone as immature as Gel)

(Meanwhile at the lake the boys were doing well.. they'd already caught 5 fish.. but it wasn't nearly enough to feed everyone.. Ram had, had quite enough of not being able to catch any fish and determined not to be beaten he stripped down to his shorts and dived into the lake.. it was a funny sight as the other lads laughed as they watched Ram fighting with the fish to catch them.. but it did the job.. he'd managed to catch some.. and soon the guys were heading back to the cabin where outside the girls had already started a camp fire to cook the fish.. Zoe sat next to Trudy and the girls had a little catch up on the past)
ZOE: Didn't think I'd be seeing you any time soon.. How've you been keeping?
TRUDY: Likewise.. and very well thanks
ZOE: (Turning her attention to Brady).. And who's this? .. Seem's like we've all grown up so fast
TRUDY: We have.. (she laughs).. this is my daughter Brady.. Actually she's YOUR niece too
ZOE: You mean.. You and Bray? .. Bray has two kids?... is this his daughter too?
TRUDY: No.. Bray only has the one.. Brady's, Martin's daughter...
(Trudy decides to tread carefully onto the next subject so she lowers her tone)
TRUDY: You do know..
ZOE: (nodding.. she knew exactly what Trudy was going to say).. That Martin's dead.. yeah.. It's okay.. Bray told me
TRUDY: Oh..
(Trudy and Zoe continue to chat as the lads arrive back with the supper)
SLADE: Nice.. Camp fire ready to go.. we'll be eating in no time..
EBONY: (joining Slade's side).. Yeah.. and something decent instead of crisps, nuts and fruit-bars
(Everyone gathers around the fire and Jay stands next to Amber and puts his arm around her)
JAY: We'll need to organise food for tomorrow as well...  otherwise it'll be fish EVERY day.. (he laughed)
AMBER: There has to be other food out here, we just need to find it
(Bray wasn't listening.. he was frowning and confused as to why Jay had put his arm around HIS woman... noticing Bray's confusion ,Gel ceased the opportunity to let Bray know the truth)
GEL: (Standing beside Bray).. That's Jay... He's an ex-techno.. He's Amber's boyfriend
(The words Techno rung in Bray's ears.. he could handle Amber and the others befriending ex-technos.. after all he'd given Ved a chance.. but being in a relationship with one?... that was adding insult to injury)
EBONY: (Adding to the truth) .. It didn't take her very long to move on either if you ask me
TRUDY: Shut up Ebony.. No one asked you
EBONY: Well what are you defending her for? .. She stole him from you in the first place
(Bray shot a look at Amber and Amber knew instantly that Bray was hurting)
AMBER: It's NOT how it seems... (she says trying to ease Bray)
BRAY: So my girlfriend isn't getting it on with the enemy? .. The very person who in all of this was part responsible for half of the bad stuff that has happened.. Amber.. because that's how it seems.
(The others were shocked.. stood in silence awaiting Amber's response)
AMBER: (Pleading).. I am SO sorry..... you have to believe me.. it's not how it seems... Really it isn't..
BRAY: An Ex-techno? ..Amber please .. that's taking it too far
AMBER: Bray please? ... Can we talk?
BRAY: (Heartbroken) .. What is there to say? ..
AMBER: (Remembering the closeness she'd sensed between Bray and Zoe.. anger struck) .. I'm being made to feel guilty for moving on? ..Well what about you and your new glamour girl tart over there?
(Amber storms inside the cabin.. she feels defeated and humiliated.. Bray follows her)
BRAY: You mean Zoe?
AMBER: Oh who else?.. (she snaps)
BRAY: Come on Amber, Your jealous? ..... Of my SISTER?

("Sister"? .. An apologetic look spread across her face.. but she felt too ashamed to look Bray in the eye.... Amber felt so stupid, she couldn't have been more wrong about Bray and Zoe if she'd tried!)

The Tribe - Season 6 - Episode 4 ... (Fiction)

-Episode 4-

(Up in the forest.. Ved, Bray and Zoe are half way up the hill.. from where they're standing there's not much to look at other than trees and more trees.. and it's not long before Ved starts complaining)

VED: How much further?
ZOE: Miles and miles .. (she teases)
VED: I'm not used to this...
BRAY: Do you ever shut up? ... No sorry, I forgot.. this really isn't your thing.. Your used to jumping from planes and riding around in trucks.. (Bray mocks)
VED: Shame there's no plane when I need one
ZOE: Quit complaining Ved, you'll just have to make do with your feet.. that's what they're there for.

(Meanwhile on the boat.. the gang wait anxiously as they seem to be closing in on dry land.. it's not much of a view.. Only a muddy hillside and a dark forest lay ahead.. but SOMEWHERE.. was better than NOWHERE!.. The gang had agreed that once they were off the boat they'd make food and shelter their first priority.. They still had a few snacks left but they'd rather be stocked up than run out and have to go searching for food on an empty stomach.. Everyone gathers their belongings as they come to a halt)

SALENE: Clean air.. at last
(Salene was feeling good.. she was glad she could breath in fresh air.. instead of the smelly fuels of the boats engine)
SALENE: This is the life.. and we're free to do whatever we want.. no chosen.. no techno's...
EBONY: (Interrupting she continues Salene's fantasy).. No home.. no beds.. no food... Great..  (Ebony was good at stamping peoples hopes into the ground)
SALENE: Whatever.. this will be great
EBONY: Oh sure.. We're in paradise.. (Ebony replies with a rather unimpressed tone)
SALENE: No.. But we could make it just as good
AMBER: Okay guys... into the hills.. and try to stick together..
LEX: If you lose us.. Your on your own... that goes for everyone
AMBER: These woods don't look too friendly
GEL: They look scary
SAMMY: (Putting his arm around Gel's waist).. Don't worry Gel.. You've got me to protect you
(Gel quickly moves Sammy's arm off her.. and looks at him in disgust)
GEL: Eww.. get away from me
(Lex laughs at Gel's discomfort)
RUBY: Gel.. would you knock it off...  he's only trying to be nice
GEL: It wasn't YOU he touched
RUBY: He hasn't got a disease .. you know
GEL: How do I know that?
(Sammy feels hurt by Gels comment and turns and runs away)
TRUDY:(Angry) Oh.. Nice one Gel...
EBONY: (Closing in on Gel).. You brainless IDIOT
AMBER: Look what you've done
JAY: Don't worry.. Lex and I will go get him.. He can't have gone far
(Jay and Lex turn to start walking in the direction that Sammy ran... But Amber pulls on their arms)
AMBER: No Jay.. Like Lex said.. We can't afford to split up.. If we lose you guys.. we might not find you again
(Amber didn't like having to make that decision.. but she knew they couldn't afford to lose Jay and Lex.. they'd be useful if they needed some muscle... And losing Sammy they could afford... but Lex and Jay were a different matter)
 MAY: Sammy heard the warning.. he's on his own now
LOTTIE: I think Gel should have to go look for him.. it's her fault he ran away anyway...
EBONY: Yeah.. And if she doesn't come back.. Well.. it's not a huge loss.. She's hardly any use to us.. she can't fight and she's also dumb
JAY: That's enough.. No one else is leaving the pack.. We need to stick together.. Now come on
(The gang make a start up the steep hill.. little be known to them that Bray, Ved and Zoe were only at the other side.. Oddly Ram bursts into song.. AGAIN)
RAM: We're off to see the wizard, the wonderful wizard of Oz
(The girls start to laugh)
JAY: I thought we made it clear last time that you can't sing
RAM: I'm still gonna.. (Ram says defiantly)
LEX: and .. I'm going to scout ahead
AMBER: No... Lex
(But before she could say anything else.. Lex had already ran ahead.. at the top of the hill he looks down on the other side.. he recognises someone and starts to run towards them)
LEX: ..Now you little creep ..(he shouts)
(Instinct makes Ved turn and point his wrist laser... Bray and Zoe also turn with a start.. Zoe see's Lex in the distance and then turns her attention to Ved)
ZOE: Ved no..
(Ved lowers his arm slightly..... and Bray looks up.. he see's Lex.. Lex stops running and cautiously steps forward.. he barely notices Bray as he has only one thing on his mind.. and that's to teach Ved a REAL lesson)
LEX: (Speaking to Ved) .. Go on then
VED: Don't push me Lex...
(Ved notices the other mall rats who have reached the top of the hill)
VED: Brought your little army this time?
LEX: I don't need them to finish you off..
(Lex makes a beeline for Ved and Ved raises his arm quickly, pointing his laser at Lex)
BRAY: (Grabbing Ved's arm).. NOT a good idea .. (He says lowering Ved's arm)
(Zoe takes Ved's wrist laser and pockets it.. whilst Lex and Bray share a MAN moment)
LEX: Good to see you pal..
BRAY: You too .. how's things..
(Just then Bray catches a glimpse of Amber and the others.. The MAN moment is quickley brought to a halt as he stands staring at Amber, and he notices Salene taking hold of the baby Amber had just been carrying... HIS baby)
LEX: Bray? ..
(Lex follows Bray's gaze and finally realises what he's staring at..... As Bray looks adoringly at his son from the distance,  Jay notices Ved and comes running down the hill at speed and almost tumbling over)
JAY: Ved!
(Trudy, Salene, Ebony, Jack, May and Ellie are shocked to see Bray.. but pleased to see he's alive and looking well.. Gel on the other hand feels an instant attraction to Bray)
BRAY: Amber.. (he mumbles)
(It wasn't until she'd reached the bottom of the hill that Amber recognised Bray.. the others were still speechless and stood in silence.. Amber holds her gaze on Bray for a moment before speaking)
AMBER: BRAY.. (she cries happily and throws herself into his arms.. tears of happiness streaming down her face)

(At that moment nothing else mattered.. Amber was where she'd wanted to be for so long.. back in the arms of her one true love.... Whilst Jay looked on feeling a little awkward  and insecure as he watched the couple embracing each other.. he felt his grip on Amber slipping away)

The Tribe - Season 6 - Episode 3 ... (Fiction)

-Episode 3-

(As morning rises the sleepy mallrats gather at the top of the boat.. it's still a little windy and it's not long before they realise someone is missing)

TRUDY: Where's the food?
AMBER: No.. No.. Where's Connor?
(Lex, Ram, Ebony and Slade glance over at each other smiling)
LOTTIE & SAMMY: (Whining).. Who care's? .. We're hungry
AMBER: I care
LEX: (Trying not to laugh).. He had to take a COLD..bath
EBONY: (Also trying  not to laugh, she puts her hand on Lex's shoulder).. Really? .. Because I heard he went for a swim..
(Amber notices that there is something funny going on.. she crosses her arms)
AMBER: Where is he?
RAM: We told you he went for a splash
AMBER: (Shaking her head) .. Okay.. Can someone who isn't speaking in riddles.. please tell me what happened? ... Slade? ... (She asks glancing over at him)
SLADE: Well those three WERE pretty close to telling you the truth...  We threw him overboard..
AMBER: (Re-acting quickly to what had been said).. WHAT?
LEX: Listen.. he almost attacked Ebony last night
EBONY: ALMOST! .. But he got a shock when I kicked him
SLADE:  I just hope he never want's kids anytime in the near future.. I think he'll be pretty useless now.... (he laughs)
AMBER: Oh this is just great.. (she rants furiously).. now how are we going to get anywhere? .. He's the only one with the right knowledge of how to drive this thing
LEX: Oh chill out.. how hard can it be? ...... (sighs).. I'll do it.
(Lex turns around and comes face to face with Jay as he whispers to him)
LEX: Amber's stress levels are pretty high this morning.. looks like someone isn't satisfying his woman properly.. (he teases)
JAY: Leave it Lex
AMBER: Lex, start the boat and lets get moving.. the sooner the better.. I don't know how much longer I can stand being cramped on this thing
DARYL: Tell me about it.. sleeping on hard wood floors hasn't done any good for my back
MAY: (Stepping forward).. I don't know why everyone's complaining.. At least we had somewhere dry to spend the night.. and at least we're all together
(Amber storms back down to the lower deck to attend to her baby)
ELLIE: All together May? .. Don't talk stupid.... We're not the Mallrats anymore.... (she looks around).. look at us.. this isn't even HALF the tribe..
LEX: We're still the mallrats.. We just don't have a mall to live in anymore
ELLIE: Or half our friends.... (she replies sadly)
(Ellie seems to slip into a world of her own.. remembering the good old days.. the times they were all together in the mall.. but her daydream is interrupted when she hears Jack's voice)
JACK: Ellie? .. Are you okay?
(Ellie looks up and just manages a half smile)
JACK: What's on your mind?
ELLIE: (Shakes her head).. Nothing.. Just remembering
JACK: Hey, we'll be okay.. I promise
ELLIE: But will the others?
(Jack has no answer to that... he remains quiet)
ELLIE: When we get off the boat.. I want to do something for our missing friends
JACK: (Taking Ellie's hand).. What's that? ..
ELLIE: A bit like Taisan would have.. but different.. I have some old photos of everyone... and I want to have a sort of memory ceremony.. for Alice, Bray, Taisan, Patsy, Ryan, Cloe, KC, Danni.. all of them who went missing without a trace..
JACK: (Understanding.. he nods and smiles).. Okay
ELLIE: I think it'd really help me... And Amber and Lex.. (she smiles)

(Meanwhile back on the Island ... Ved, Bray and Zoe were preparing to continue their walk in hopes of getting back to the city)

VED: I hate to be a buzz kill.. but you know we won't reach the city before nightfall.. we're still miles away
BRAY:(placing his bag on the dirt)..  No.. but by nightfall we'll be closer to it than we are now..
VED: We're no match for the techno's.. there's only three of us... besides they have more equipment than us.. I've seen it
ZOE: Okay Ved.. what's bugging you?... You we're all up for it yesterday.. and now.. you've lost your will to fight
VED: No I haven't...  I just think if we're gonna do it.. we need to be careful
BRAY: Ved.. we can handle them.. We just stay out of sight..... And failing that.. then we just send Zoe in.. Looking at her face will send them into shock you won't even have to use your wrist laser... Don't worry about it
(Zoe takes note of Bray's face.. He's not smiling.. She think's he's being serious..  feeling hurt she throws her back pack to the ground.. and quickly walks off)
BRAY: Zoe... (Running after her)
VED: Don't worry about me... I'll just sit here .. ALONE
(Ved calls after them in a sarcastic tone..)
BRAY: Zoe.. I didn't mean it seriously... it was a joke
ZOE: (Turning to face Bray.. she points straight at him).. You said it... And Bray you know I've never been the most confident person..
BRAY: Zo, I'm your brother.. Brothers are supposed to be a pain.. we joke and fool around.. and we tease our younger siblings.. Your just not used to it because we haven't been together as a family since the virus....Guys never grow up.. and I'll always be your pain in the backside brother..  (Pauses).. Look... I love winding you up.. but I'd never hurt you... at least not intentionally... It was a joke.. don't take it to heart.
(Zoe hugs her brother tight and they both walk back to Ved)
VED: Family row sorted?..... can we get moving now?
ZOE: Oh.. so now you wanna get going? .. When it suits you?
VED: .. Yeah well.. family arguments... (shakes his head)...  not really my thing

(Bray, Ved and Zoe.. set off up the hill of the forest.. the forest is surrounded by tall trees and has loads of muddy paths leading in all different directions.... Bray, Ved and Zoe stick together.. they know that if they get split up in a forest this big and maze like .. that the chances of finding each other again are pretty slim...)
