The Tribe - Season 6 - Episode 20

(That evening the  party was in full swing and the Mallrats among other tribes  were enjoying themselves, for the first time in a long time.
...The disco ball glittered in the light and people were dancing and chatting amongst themselves.. In the centre of the dance floor, Lex and Zoe looked cosy dancing together and in one corner of the room, stood Salene and Ram, Darryl on the other hand set his sights on Amber as he drunk himself stupid)

 Darryl: Now this is a real party
Amber: Well as you know, we Mallrats like to do it in style Darryl
Darryl: Look at this, good booze, good food, plenty of chicks
(Amber shakes her head and laughs)
Amber: You never change do you Darryl?
Darryl: No babe .. (putting his arm around Ambers shoulder).. not unless you want me to
Amber: (Removing Darryl's arm, she laughs again)..  I'm spoken for, but you could try that on Gel, (Points to Gel, who seems to be revelling in the attention she's recieveing from other boys)...Somehow, I don't think she'd mind
(Amber walks over to Bray, leaving Darryl to fantasise alone)


Lex: Look Babe, I'm sorry about earlier, I had a lot on my mind... I didn't mean to take it out on you
Zoe: It's okay.. I shouldn't have asked so many questions, it was none of my business.
(Lex smiles and they share a kiss)


Salene: Go on get up there
Ram: I don't dance
Salene: (Laughs).. Oh lighten up, it's fun, maybe you could even show Ved a thing or two
Ram: I don't think so.. (he laughs)... Now if this was computers, I could help him
(Their conversation was cut short by Ruby who interrupted them)
Ruby: Salene, have you seen Lottie?
Salene: No why?
Ruby: Well she's missing,
Ram: What's the big deal?..
Ruby: She could get hurt.. she's just a kid
(Ruby leaves Ram & Salene to try & find Lottie, Meanwhile Darryl tries his luck with May)
Darryl: So May what's a pretty girl like you doing dancing alone
May: Are you going somewhere with this Darryl? Because if you are,.. your chances are the same as last time... Zero
Darryl: Are all the girls here the same as you?... Stuck up?
May: No Darryl... we've just got taste..
(May walks away from Darryl and joins Salene)


Lottie: (Emerging from the toilets) There's a fire, in the ladies room, ... (She screams but with the music playing so loudly she goe's unheard and desperatly pushes her way through the crowds of dancing bodies to get to the Mallrats) 


(Oblivious to the danger ahead of them the members of each tribe are having a great time, dancing, singing drinking)


Lottie: (finding Bray and Amber) We  need to get out, now
Bray: What do you mean?
Amber: Lottie?
Lottie: There's a fire, in the girls bath room and it's spreading fast..
Amber: Lottie did you cause this?
Bray: Amber there's no time, we need to evacuate this building, NOW..
Amber: (Panicing) We need to get everybody out, Bray, Lottie, go  warn as many people as you can, I'll try gather the Mallrats..


(The flames had started to spread, QUICKLY and was now burning in the room of the party..... Moments later frightened people headed for the door, screaming and  coughing as they burst out of it,)

 (As the Mallrats and the last remaining few from other tribes made their way out of the door, they stood at a safe distance away from the building as they watched the roof catch fire, beams falling and smoke escaping through the open door in thick clouds.. Traumatised by the evening event's the Mallrats hadn't even noticed two of their own tribe members were missing)


Bray: Are we all here?
Trudy: I think so.. (Looking among the crowd).. No.... Brady...
Salene: You mean Brady's still in there?
(She makes a quick movement as she heads to run back into the building for her daughter but is stopped by Jay and Slade)
Jay: Trudy no..
Trudy: (Struggling to free herself).. My baby's in there...
(Looking among the others, it is clear to Jay that no one knew what to do)
Jay: Slade hold on to her, I'm going back in for Brady.. (Jay runs towards the building)
Slade: Trudy calm down, Jay will get her out
Trudy: (Screaming and Struggling to get free again) Just rescue my baby...
Ebony: Lex go with him..

(Lex runs fast to help Jay, but just as they reach the door a beam falls and almost hits them and they're thrown back by the heat of the blaze.. Just then a figure runs through the door holding a small child, It's Zoe, coughing and finding it hard to breathe she faints with Brady in her arms... Trudy free's herself from Slade's grasp and runs to her daughter, whilst Jay and Lex knelt down beside Zoe)

Lex: Zoe!!!! (Panicning he turns to Jay) ..Do something..
Bray: (Running to the side of his sisters  lifeless body) .. Zoe can you hear me?
(Jay begins to give Zoe mouth to mouth, desperatley trying to rescusitate her)
Ebony: (Joining the guys) Is she breathing? .. (She asks worried)
Jay: (Slowly shaking his head) .. We've lost her.... She's dead...
